An elderly Wandsworth-born man died in hospital after fall in his home on Mitcham, Westminster Coroner’s Court heard on Wednesday.
Godfrey Withcombe, 87, died in St George’s Hospital on November 1 this year after having an operation for a fractured hip.
The coroner, Dr Paul Knapman, said he died due to left ventricular failure due to coronary heart disease after fracturing his hip.
A verdict of accidental death was recorded.
