Adults with learning disabilities and difficulties are raising money for the Haiti Earthquake Disaster Relief Fund by doing a sponsored walk .
The South Norwood Country Park walk will take place on Tuesday, February 9, between 1- 3pm and members of the public are welcome to join in.
The learners will meet in the canteen at the Croydon Adult Learning and Training South Norwood Centre before setting out on their walk.
With many of them already keen walkers who enjoy rambling, they have a club that meets every Monday from 10am until 12noon, during term time.
If you would like to sponsor the learners, or would like more information on any of the courses on offer, please contact the department on 020 8662 5572 or collect a sponsorship form from reception at the South Norwood centre.
