Budding film stars are preparing to go in front of the camera to highlight an important issue.
Morden’s Ambition youth group is set to produce a film that will be seen on the big screen across south west London as part of the Happy Soul Festival, an annual event raising awareness of mental health issues.
Two adults and 21 children from the Central Road group will begin filming the feature, to be shown at five local cinemas in April, next week.
Founder Adele Gregory said: “The children are all really excited that they will appear on the big screen and have been working hard on there dance and drama skills.
“They are an amazing team and are so happy to be reaching such a wide audience with such a great awareness message.”
