Dear Miss Harvey I wish to thank you for wonderful event today. I still feel refreshed from wonderful walk today around Battersea Park. Everyone at the event was helpful and supportive. , I am really looking forward to you emailing me some good news soon about further walks with qualified leaders starting, simply because I feel I need that extra support.
.I am very grateful to you for organising such a lovely event.
Yours sincerely Blanka Pilinger De Jesus The aim of the event was to launch the walk 4 Life programme In conjunction with Change For Life.
Walk 4 Life is a free service that offers guided health walks lead by qualified leaders around the beautiful parks and commons that Wandsworth has to offer.
Walking can help reduce your blood pressure, lower your stress levels, and manage your weight. It can also help to prevent serious health conditions.
The Governments recommendation is to exercise for 30 minutes of moderate-cardiovascular exercise (equivalent to brisk walking/modest jogging) a day.
