Schoolkids are ready to pull on goggles and lab coats for a week of lessons that go off with a bang.
Pupils at the Study Preparatory School in Camp Road, Wimbledon, will tackle five days of science from Monday to Friday next week.
Activities planned for the science week include a visit to Kew Gardens, rocket building workshops, and lessons about the theories of Charles Darwin.
Illustrator Cliff Wright, who created artwork for the covers of the Harry Potter books, is set to visit the school for a special observational drawing lesson.
