A stock-market millionaire will be talking to school children about his double life of drugs and crime and time in tough prisons in the USA.

Shaun Attwood will be visiting Edenham High School this Friday to talk to students.

The 41-year-old, from Cheshire, emigrated to Arizona in 1991 where he became a top stockbroker and then a tech-stock millionaire during the dot.com bubble.

But he also led a double life. He took his love of dance music to the US, throwing raves and becoming heavily involved in club drugs.

The local media described him as bigger than the gangster “Sammy the Bull” Gravano, his rival in the Ecstasy market.

He was arrested by a SWAT team in May 2002 and began a blog talking about the terrible conditions in the jail with the highest rate of death in America.

He was sentenced to nine and a half years for money laundering and drug offences, and served almost six.
