Supersonic travel is winging its way back to Weybridge, when Brooklands Museum relaunches interest in the Concorde this half term.

The museum is showing off its Concorde simulator, one of only two ever built, and used by British Airways to train its Concorde aircrew.

The museum hopes to attract hundreds of families during the half-term week later this month, offering an array of hands-on activities involving buses, railways and aircraft.

Cobham Bus Museum has also provided bus rides in one of its double-decker London buses and the Brooklands Discovery Centre offers engineering challenges, such as the Drawing Brooklands Trail for children aged between seven and 11.

Entry is £9 for adults and £5.50, but tickets for the Concorde Experience are an extra £4 for adults and £2 for children. For more details call 01932 857381 or visit brooklandsmuseum.com.
