A St Helier councillor has taken to the stage for the first time in 20 years.
Coun David Theobald, who suffers from Crohns Disease, played rock classics when he took his guitar to sing at The Crown pub in Sutton town centre.
Mr Theobald said the evening made him forget his pain and he vowed to host another night in the future.
He said his last venture on stage was 20 years ago as a stand-in musician for touring bands.
