An Oscar-nominated film exposing the dark side of the American food industry is being screened at Odeon in Streatham on February 23.
Robert Kenner's Food, Inc., which is nominated for best documentary, claims America's food supply is being controlled by a handful of corporations who are putting profits before health and safety.
Environmental group Sustainable Streatham will be hosting the screening and hope to drum up strong support so Food, Inc. could have the same kind of impact as films such as Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth.
The screening starts at 8pm and tickets cost £5.
