A man who was stabbed to death outside Selhurst Park football stadium last night has been named by police as Mark Corcoran.
The 26-year-old had earlier attended a St Valentine's Day wedding.
Mr Corcoran managed to stagger into Subitha Food and Wine in Whitehorse Lane just after 8pm last night, but was pronounced dead at the scene by 9pm.
An incident room has opened at Lewisham under DCI Cliff Lyons from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command.
He said: "We know that Mr. Corcoran attended a wedding on Valentine's Day and we are appealing for anyone who has knowledge of his attendance at this wedding or his movements throughout the day to come forward.
"We would also like to hear from anyone who was in the area of the Crystal Palace football ground, particularly after 7.30pm, and who may have seen or heard anything."
Any witnesses or anyone with information should call detectives 020 8721 4961, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
