Ambulance staff have confirmed a 30-year-old woman was injured at Tooting Broadway tube station in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The woman was taken to St George's Hospital with a cut hand soon after 3.15am.
British Transport Police said they were called to a separate incident at the station earlier that night at 10.45pm.
A spokesman said: "Officers attended the station; however, all those involved had left the scene. No victim has come forward following the incident.
"Anyone who may have been injured in this incident is encouraged to come forward."
There is not yet any evidence to connect the incidents.
