The man charged with the murder of Perry Nelson Jr will appear at Croydon Crown Court on February 22.
Samuel Quamina, 49, is accused of killing the 24-year-old from Norbury and is charged with causing grievous bodily harm to a 41-year-old man at the same time.
Officers were called to Kings College Hospital at approx 8.25pm after two men were brought in suffering stab wounds on September 10 last year.
Mr Nelson died a short while later.
A post mortem examination gave the cause of death as stab wounds.
The second victim - aged in his 40s - was discharged on September 11.
An incident room was opened under detectives from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command.
The two victims, along with a third man, attended an address in Southampton Way, Peckham on the evening.
An argument ensued with another man at that address and the two subsequently received stab wounds.
