A series of events planned to put a smile on the faces of residents have been organised by the community group, Making Colliers Wood Happy.
On Thursday, March 4, live music and dance instruction will feature as part of the annual Colliers Wood Ball. The event begins at 7.30pm, based in GJ’s in the High Street.
The following Saturday, a community recycling event will be held in Cavendish Road where residents can take any unwanted mechanical items to be given a new lease of life with help from resident handy man Keith Spears.
And on the Sunday, indefatigable members of Making Colliers Wood Happy will be taking part in a “spring tidy-up” of the community woodland in Wandle Park from 10am to 12pm.
