Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously assaulted in a West Norwood kebab shop.
The 21-year-old suffered a fractured jaw and broke his right eye socket when he was punched in the head in the Efes kebab shop in Norwood Road.
The attack, which police believe was unprovoked, occurred on Christmas Eve at about 11pm.
Officers are looking for three or four men, described as black, aged about 20 and wearing dark clothing.
PC Chris Stewart urged anyone who was in the area, passing by or waiting for a bus close to the shop to call 020 8649 2039 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Officers said the man has since recovered the sight in his right eye.
