Shaun Derry insists there is no chance of him and his Crystal Palace team mates suffering an FA Cup hangover against Reading tomorrow.
The Eagles' game with the Royals has turned into a relegation six-pointer and although Palace captain Derry admits the cup run is enjoyable, he knows staying in the league is the priority.
"Tomorrow's match is a huge huge game for us, it is the league where this club is going to survive," he said.
"In the short term the money coming in from the cup is excellent but we need to be a Championship side.
"Reading are one of the teams around us and if we can get three points it takes us even closer to Coventry who we play on Saturday and that is another huge game.
"Make no bones about it, every single game the club are in at the moment is huge in different kinds of situations.
"It's massive for the club to progress in the cup but this is the bread and butter of it all.
"Tomorrow is going to be an almighty game."
