A residential home in Balham has been given a makeover after a donation.
Annaly House, set up by the charity SignHealth, supports profoundly deaf people with moderate to severe psychological issues.
The home provides 24 hour care and support and encourages residents to live independently, where possible.
Yorkshire Building Society’s Charitable Foundation provided a £1,879 for new furniture.
Steve Powell, chief executive officer of SignHealth, said: “We’d like to thank the Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation for its support of the residents at Annaly House.
“The donation has helped us to maintain a comfortable, ordered home and quality of life for people who have suffered great disadvantages and sometimes great injustices in their lives.
I know our residents are delighted to see their rooms get the makeover treatment.”
