Aadarsh George is only three-years-old and already he knows the capital of every country in the world.

He can can tell you currencies, prime ministers, opposition party leaders, the most populated countries and even the name of the secretary-general of the UN.

Parents Anish George and Manju Anish, from Wellow Walk, Carshalton, are astonished by their son's remarkable memory.

From age two-and-a-half Aadarsh, who has not even started nursery, begged his parents to teach him facts before he got out of bed in the morning. Within three-months he knew around 200 capital cities and had started using the family computer to look up information on internet search engines.

Mr George, a sales assistant at Matalan in Sutton and Mrs Anish, a nurse a St Helier Hospital, do not know where Aadarsh gets his talent from.

Mr George, 39, who is originally from India, said: “He always watches the news and when he heard about the Haiti earthquake he told us that the capital was Port-au-Prince.”

Aadarsh, who wants to be a doctor or a pilot when he is older, speaks English and Malayalam, can count to 300 and unlike other three-year-olds is interested in newspapers and books. Aadarsh is currently on the waiting list for a nursery place at St Teresa's Nursery School in Morden.

Mrs Anish, 34, said: “As soon as he started talking he wanted to read car number plates. He can also read the headlines in the Sutton Guardian.”

Mr George said: “His talent is good but all I want is for him to grow up to be a good man. Then everything else will come to him in life.”
