Generous beauticians are needed to pamper Merton’s carers.
Unpaid volunteers who normally devote their time to helping others will enjoy being the centre of attention at a special wellbeing day in Mitcham next month.
It will feature health advice and relaxing treatments - and the organisers want qualified beauticians to offer their services on the day for free.
The event has been organised by charity Carer Support Merton (CSM) and NHS Sutton and Merton.
A spokesman for CSM said: “Carers spend many hours looking after someone else and very easily forget that they also need looking after. In conjunction with NHS Sutton and Merton, our wellbeing day is all about helping the carer to keep healthy both mentally and physically so they can continue to do the fantastic job of caring for somebody else.”
The event will take place on March 4 at Vestry Hall in London Road, Mitcham, from 11am to 4pm. For more information, or to offer help, email Debbie@csmerton.org.
