A pair of Croydon clans are battling it out to be crowned Britain's most adventurous family.
The Byrne and the Ruhomaun families will be taking on 12 competitors from around the country to win the chance to explore the new Wild Asia area at Chessington World of Adventures.
TV presenter Nick Baker, who launched the competition, said the Byrnes were chosen for their “knack at bringing out the adventurous side in each other”, while the Ruhomauns made the list because of their “obvious zest for life”.
The winning family will also receive a tailor-made adventure holiday and an annual pass to Chessington.
Naturalist Mr Baker said "When we go to Wild Asia there will be an opportunity for each family to prove they are worthy of this title".
Both families can be voted for at chessington.com/wildasia
