Mad Scientists take over John Lewis
Mad scientists took over John Lewis Kingston’s Place to Eat on Monday, to entertain children on their half term.
The New Wimbledon Theatre was at the store to promote their Horrible Science production and two of the lab technicians performed excerpts from the show.
They also explained, to the 50 or so children who attended, about forces such as gravity and how bacteria and microbe monsters inflict their killer diseases on people.
A store spokesman said: “They were full of ohhhs and yucks but all went home with a smile on their face.”
