Drivers faced long delays this morning after an incident on the A3 near Kingston.
Cars faced queues of around three miles after the incident, on Robin Hood Way south-bound between Robin Hood Way and the A238, Coombe Lane West.
However, the incident has now been cleared and traffic is said to be easing as the rush hour progresses.
Last week, drivers faced delays on the busy route as work to repair a gas leak was carried out.
