Ex-army training officer Matt Tibbles is putting school children through their paces to get them military fit.
He has held his one-hour sessions at Edenham High School and is offering group exercises for children in years 10 and 11.
He said: “The techniques I teach give young people a chance to build their muscles and improve their respiratory cycle without having to join a gym or pay for evening keep fit classes which they may be too young for or find too expensive to join.
“An emphasis is placed on enjoyment with fun races, teamwork exercises, press-ups, push-ups and squat thrusts, which are easy to do and are all part of maintaining a fit and healthy body which can only in turn benefit the pupils with their school work.”
