Two drivers were seriously injured when their cars were involved in a head-on smash early yesterday morning.
The men, who were both aged 21, were rushed to St George’s Hospital in Tooting as priorities with multiple injuries, a London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said.
Police cordoned off South End in Croydon for several hours following the collision, which happened at about 3.30am outside the Mae Ping Thai restaurant.
Witnesses said one of the drivers had to be pulled from his silver VW Golf by police.
