Following the worst winter for more than 50 years, drivers across the UK have been hit with pothole misery.
Roads across the country have suffered after the bad weather, with freezing temperatures and regular snowfall leaving the dreaded craters.
Potholes are formed by water which has penetrated the asphalt surface of the road through cracks.
When temperatures plunge, the water freezes, expands and causes the surface to rupture.
Once the the ice has melted, a void is left below the surface which caves in under the weight of vehicles and forms a pothole.
Councils are spending millions attempting to rectify the damaged roads but drivers insist they are still suffering, with punctures and damaged suspension topping the list of woes for drivers.
