A new exhibition has gone up in Southfields Library featuring the work of adult students from Southfield Community College.
The ten week course in drawing and painting has been running for five years and many of the students have been coming for as long.
During the sessions they learnt about design, life-drawing, still-life, landscape, figurative composition and portraiture.
Nicola Scott-Taylor, course leader, said: "I keep the material fresh by covering different periods of art history be it Futurism, Cubism or Expressionism."
Executive Headteacher of Southfields Community College, Jacqueline Valin said: “Education does not stop when you leave school. We are all engaged in learning through-out our lives.
"Lifelong learning has been a feature of our work at Southfields for a number of years and we value the work with our partners within the local community."
The course was run as part of the College's Aspire Centre.
