Northern line closure causes commuter chaos
Commuters were left stranded last night when part of the northern line was closed for more than an hour.
Passengers were forced to catch buses home when the line was suspended between Kennington and Morden at 6.14pm.
A spokesman for Transport for London (TfL) said the problem was down to a defective train at Kennington.
The line opened again at 7.20pm.
