Worcester Park thumped Westfield 6-0 at Skinners Field on Saturday.
The visitors were pinned back from the start and Park should have taken a fifth minute lead, but Gary O’Leary’s header from debutant Dec Teuton’s fine cross was too close to the keeper.
It wasn’t until the 33rd minute that Park made the breakthrough, the unmarked Mick Petruzziello heading home Gary Knowleden’s free-kick.
The second came shortly afterwards when Knowleden’s corner from the right was headed home by Richard Ingham.
At the start of the second half, Ingham went on a surging run and, although Kyle Green’s shot was well saved by the visiting keeper, he was unable to stop Ingham’s fllow-up.
Knowleden made it four after 62 minutes when he picked up a loose ball on the edge of the box and fired an unstoppable drive past the despairing Gallent.
Three minutes later, James Dunning surged into the area and Green tapped home the fifth.
Man-of-the match Ingham completed his hat-trick in the last minute, smashing home a loose ball after good work from James Williams.
