Two men and a youth have appeared in court charged with murdering a Halloween reveller in Sutton.
Daniel Ransom, 21, from Blake Close, Ross Collender, 20, from Wigmore Road, both Carshalton, and a 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at the Old Bailey via videolink today (February 25).
Ben Gardner, 30, was apparently killed in a row about his girlfriend's Halloween hat in Throwley Way on November 1.
The alleged murder took place as the couple were returning home from a night out in November last year.
All three are in custody and face a further hearing in May.
A trial is expected to take place in September.
