Police are searching for a man in connection with an attack on a 17-year-old boy at Clapham South tube station in January.
The attacker argued with the boy in the street and the booking hall before cutting him in the side with an unknown weapon and fleeing the scene.
After the incident at 1.50pm on Thursday, January 28, the boy, from Streatham, was treated in hospital and released several hours later.
The attacker, believed to be aged around 16-18, ran into Hazelbourne Road as he fled. Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to relating to the incident.
Detective Constable Carl Wayte, one of the investigating officers, said: “I am appealing for anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV image or was in the area and may have seen something which can assist the investigation to come forward.”
If you know the man in these CCTV images, contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40, quoting incident number 243 of 28/1/2010.
