Two striking pieces of artwork were unveiled at Springfield Hospital on Thursday as part of the Happy Soul Film and Arts Festival.
The work, by artist Eric Fong, was produced in collaboration with patients for the new Wandsworth Recovery Centre at the hospital in Tooting.
One piece features S.A.D. (Seasonal Affective Disorder) lights covered in perspex, while the second is a collage of images from Springfield’s past and present.
Cary Sawhney, director of the Happy Soul festival said: “This art work by Eric Fong inspires both a sense of wonderment and a deeper appreciation of the experiences of mental health service users, who contributed to its development”.
