Women can learn more about how local services can help them improve their mental health and wellbeing at two free events next week in Battersea and Tooting.
To support International Women’s Day, NHS Wandsworth and Wandsworth Council are holding a series of workshops to raise awareness of services available.
At both events there will be entertainment from a local singer, poetry readings and a presentation from women’s group Storm Empowerment.
There will also be an International Women’s Day quiz, with 10 shopping vouchers up for grabs for the winners.
Those attending can also take advantage of a free creche and a light lunch.
The workshop at the Samaj Hall, Tooting High Street, will be held on Monday, March 8, between 12pm and 5pm A workshop at Lavender Hill’s Battersea Arts Centre will be held on March 10, between 11am and 3pm.
