Neil Warnock has hit back at Crystal Palace's joint administrator Brendan Guilfoyle, claiming he was difficult to work with and had a high opinion of himself.
Guilfoyle, of The P&A Partnership, said Warnock lacked the stomach for the fight at Palace after the 61-year-old left the Eagles to take over at London rivals Queens Park Rangers on Monday.
Warnock laughed off those claims though and also revealed the final straw for him was the agents The P&A Partnership used to sell Victor Moses being paid £100,000 for their troubles at a time when the club was desperate for money.
"He was the only administrator that would touch the club in a million years, everybody else turned it down as it just wasn't a job for the administrator," he said.
"I don't think any other administrator would have touched it with a barge pole, it just wasn't fair and we should not have had the points taken off.
"When he introduced Paul Hart they asked him why Paul Hart and he said 'I am an accountant', I think that sums it up really.
"When he first came in, obviously he made it clear new owners could be in any time and they could want their own manager.
"It's been very difficult working with him, he has a high opinion of himself.
"One or two of my ex chairman have said similar things to what he said when I have left which is really just justifying what they have done.
"Palace got a very good compensation fee for me and I don't think he turned his nose up at that.
"The biggest thing for me of late, when we have been scratching around, was when I found out that the agent the administrator brought in received £100,000 within days of selling Victor Moses for £2m and I think I could have sold him in my sleep.
"That was the bug bearer for me and I could never get my head around that.
"To spend the time limit he already told me that was going to come for new owners and then extend it again there comes a time when you have to think 'my family comes first'.
"While I will miss Palace because they have been the best fans I have ever worked with, I am looking forward now to the QPR fans."
