Shoppers were encouraged to change their normal brands for fair trade alternatives last weekend, when the big swap campaign came to John Lewis.
Volunteers handed out fair trade bananas, and were encouraged by the number of children who said they were doing fair trade at school.
Also visiting was Louise Taplin from the Fairtrade Foundation who explained how fair trade would be part of the 2012 Olympics. See fairtrade.org.uk/thebigswap for more information.
