Junior book lovers at a Wimbledon school took their heroes off the page and into the classroom to celebrate World Book Day.
Pupils at All Saints Primary in East Road dressed up as their favourite characters on Thursday to mark the event - with prizes for the creators of the best costumes.
Staff also held a special book sale, with titles donated by pupils, to raise money for Books for Africa - a charity which sends reading material and computers to young people in 45 countries across the continent.
