Children from Earlsfield Primary School enjoyed an afternoon of Indian food tasting at Nazmins restaurant in Garratt Lane, Wandsworth.
A buffet style dinner was laid on for the children as part of a drive to teach them about India and its customs.
They were also given a free T-shirt each.
Laura Duffield, teacher, said: “They are very grateful to Nazmins for allowing them this opportunity and for many of the children, this may be their first time in an Indian restaurant.
“The children have thoroughly enjoyed learning about India.”
Nazmin's Balti House, which has been established for more than 33 years, is a family-run restaurant serving traditional Indian dishes.
Ms Duffield added: “We had such a fantastic afternoon and Nazmins put on a fabulous spread of food.”
