Free Thames cruises will be on offer this month as one of Kingston’s oldest family-run businesses celebrates its 300th anniversary.
Turks Launches will offer free trips between Kingston and Hampton Court on Saturday, March 27, the first day of the firm’s summer season.
Boats will depart from Turks Pier, Thames Side, next to Kingston Bridge, and from Town End Pier on the Queen’s Promenade throughout the day.
This year will also see the company expand its services to include Twickenham, where it has a new pier, and to celebrate Turks will also offer free trips on all its scheduled services on Saturday, April 17.
Managing director Richard Turk said: “We are a family firm born and raised in Kingston. It is to give something back to the locals who have supported us through the years and come on our boats every year.”
