The man who apparently allowed John Lennon to speak from beyond the grave is coming to Epsom Playhouse next month to demonstrate his psychic powers.

Sceptics and rationalists may scoff, but Joe Power, voted the UK’s most popular male psychic by the readers of Soul and Spirit Magazine last year, is likely to attract a full house when he performs on Monday, April 19.

He is making his first appearance at the Playhouse and according to the publicity blurb: “this evening of clairvoyance will be a demonstration of communication where Joe delivers messages from people that have passed over. Audiences will be shocked with his startlingly accurate information and he promises a night packed with messages.”

Mr Power is best known as the medium that has apparently manifested the voice of John Lennon on US TV show, The Spirit of John Lennon, since 2006.

Since then he has been interviewed by both BBC and ITV news, appeared on Loose Women and had his autobiography published by Penguin Books.

His fame has continued to grow on both sides of the Atlantic and many people who have doubted the existence of psychic abilities have been swayed by his performances.

Born in Liverpool, Mr Power claims to have been followed around in his youth by dead people but it was not until the death of his brother in suspicious circumstances that he started to explore his own psychic abilities.

Over the past decade Mr Power has allegedly used his psychic abilities to assist the police in several murder investigations, and was even flown out to Spain by an Irish newspaper to investigate the disappearance of a 16 year old Irish girl.

He follows in the footsteps of other popular psychics to appear at the Playhouse such as Keith Charles and Ivan Lee.

For fans of the spirit world, Keith Charles is coming back in September and in June the well known clairvoyant Val Hood will be performing.

Tickets are on sale now and are available from the Box Office on 01372 742555 and further details are on the website www.epsomplayhouse.co.uk
