A Weybridge business and its founder have been rated in the top 20 to work for by The Sunday Times.
Fragrance distributor Kenneth Green Associations (KGA) came 20th, while founder and chairman Kenneth Green was one of three individuals nominated for the best leader award. They also ranked highest out of all new companies entering this year.
The list, which was published in a supplement on March 7, was created by considering 960 businesses, surveying 230,000 employees and analysing key statistics, process and policies.
KGA, also labelled a “two star outstanding company”, is a leader in the department store sector and the UK’s fourth distributor of perfume. Mr Green established the company 20 years ago and it is currently celebrating its anniversary.
The Sunday Times said: “Staff have a great deal of faith in his leadership [an 89 per cent ranking the firm second] and senior managers really believe in the company’s values [79 per cent] working with colleagues gives staff a buzz [72 per cent] and teams care for each other (82 per cent). People are proud to work for the organisation [86%].
“The Surrey company’s 414 employees are among the country’s most content.”
