A youth group leader has been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm on a removal man while helping his parents move home.
Moonis Nasir, who runs the Norbury chapter of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association, pleaded not guilty to the charge at Kingston Crown Court on March 9.
The 26-year-old is said to have caused the injury in Morden on July 10 last year.
He was granted conditional bail and is due to be tried at Kingston Crown Court on August 9.
Mr Nasir, who lives in Semley Road, Norbury, helped collect £425 towards the Haiti relief effort earlier this month, and took part in a sponsored run for Great Ormond Street Hospital on Saturday.
