Drivers have been warned Coombe Road, Norbiton, will be closed for four weeks to allow the rail bridge to be replaced over the Easter weekend.
The road, and part of Norbiton Avenue, will be closed from Monday, March 22, until Thursday, April 15, with traffic diverted to Galsworthy Road, Kingston Hill and London Road.
The bridge itself will be lifted between Good Friday and Easter Monday.
All businesses and shops in Coombe Road will remain open, although the two home zones in Manogate Road and Wolveton Avneue will only be accessible via Kingston Hill.
