Shop fire on Putney Bridge Road
Firefighters were called to Riverside Minimart in Putney Bridge Road on Thursday to put out a small blaze.
The three-storey building caught fire at around 3.20pm after a suspected electrical fault.
Teams from Wandsworth fire station rushed to the scene but no-one was injured.
Watch manager Terry Lenderyou said: “We can’t stress enough the importance of having smoke detectors fitted in your home. We offer a free fitting service to all properties in Wandsworth.”
