Crystal Palace manager Paul Hart cannot explain why his side are so bad at home.
The Eagles have lost five of their last six matches at Selhurst Park and scored just two goals in that time going into Saturday's game with play-off hopefuls Cardiff City.
"I don't know why that is," said Hart.
"I think sometimes it is harder at home when you are in the situation we are in but we hope we can address that."
Palace have been dealt a blow with news Paddy McCarthy suffered a setback in his comeback from a shoulder injury.
The defender played his first game in almost five months for the reserves last Thursday and travelled with the rest of the squad to Blackpool at the weekend before being forced to come home early.
"We think he has aggravated some scar tissue and he is pretty sore," said Hart.
