A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Larry Malone who was killed in West Norwood last September.
Lemuel Robinson, 25, of Collingwood Road, Sutton, will appear at Sutton Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (March 24) accused of the murder of Mr Malone.
Mr Malone, 24, was shot dead through a window as he stood in the front room of his aunti's house in Harpenden Road just before 1am on Thursday, September 3.
Up to six shots were fired into the room which contained Mr Malone, his aunt and an unspecified number of other people, although police have refused to say who they were or what they were doing in the house.
But only Mr Malone was hit and a post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as a single gunshot wound to the head.
Andrew Cross, 27, from Lambeth, appeared at Camberwell Green Magistrates' Court on March 17 charged with Mr Malone’s murder. He was remanded in custody and will appear at the Old Bailey on June 23.
Eden Lee-Thomas, 22, from Dagenham, and Shevonne Legister, 19, from Croydon, were both charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice.
Detective Chief Inspector Tony Boughton, who is leading the investigation, said: “It appears the victim was in the front room of a flat with others when shots were fired through the window.
