Three more arrests have been made by police looking for Ezra Mills' killers.

Two 20-year-old men and another man, 18, all from the Gipsy Hill area, were arrested last night and this morning in connection with Mr Mills murder.

The 22-year-old was shot dead just after 10pm on Sunday, hours after celebrating his birthday with his family.

It was his birthday the day before his murder.

He was gunned down in Oakwood Drive, that runs through the Central Hill estate in Gipsy Hill.

A gang of between five and eight black, hooded youths, were seen by residents running from the estate moments after the shooting.

Police are keen to know why Mr Mills, who is not known by police to have links to any gang, was on the estate that night.

Detective Chief Inspector Neil Hutchison from Trident said : "We believe that Ezra may have friends on the estate and that may be the reason he was there on Sunday night.

"I am appealing to anyone with information to contact the police on 020 8247 4553 or if you do not wish to give your name call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111".

Six people were arrested on Monday in connection with the shooting.

Five were released without charge, but a 22-year-old man was balied pending further police enquiries.
