Sutton police officers have arrested a woman for handling stolen goods after raids in a Wallington estate.
The raids took place at 8am on Wednesday morning (March 24) at three houses on the Roundshaw estate.
Officers forced entry to the properties in Avro Way, Mollison Drive and Vickers Close looking for stolen goods as part of an on-going crackdown on thefts from motor vehicles around the borough.
A police spokesman confirmed that numerous electrical goods were recovered as well as “a quantity of cash”.
He said: “A 49-year-old woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of handling stolen goods.”
