Children were given a lesson in road safety when a special CCTV Smart Car visited their school.
Sutton Council’s CCTV Smart Car visited Cheam Park Farm Nursery and Infants' to help teach the children about road safety.
The CCTV Smart Car is operating around the borough and helping with parking enforcement outside schools where the safety of pupils is paramount.
The children saw how the camera system works inside the car, as well as being shown how the car will help to keep them safe outside the school gates.
Cheam Park Farm Nursery and Infants' School head teacher Alison Day said: “I think the demonstration really helped them to understand how dangerous it is to cross the road from beside parked cars.”
