On a very wet evening at Chalky Lane the game got under way with Banstead Athletic on the attack from the first whistle, writes Bob Lockyer.
After some good work between the players, Cole-Bolt of Banstead unleashed a shot that whistle past the left hand post.
The surface was slippery but Banstead were fairing better in the conditions and on fourteen minutes they opened their account with a good cross coming from the left into the area, there was confusion from Utd, the A's had three players in the six yard box the final touch came from Cole-Bolt 0-1.
Chessington started to come into the game and Dan Bennett had a strike from a free kick that Brady in the A's goal did well to save. Zak Graham of Banstead saw the Utd keeper off his line and tried a lob from about 30 yards out it went just wide.
Hawkins had the captains armband for this match and leading the back four very well, clearing any danger. Martin Jackson of Utd had another shot saved by Brady back in goal after a spell out with an injury.
With Patterson-Bohner up front with Graham for Banstead they were a formidible pair causing Utd a lot of problems.
Banstead had a free kick about 20 yards out on twenty two minutes and Graham took charge of it, he rifled it into the net with the Utd keeper wondering what happened 0-2.
Brady made another vital save fifteen minutes from halftime.
Terrible defending brought Utd back into the game on forty minutes, Bennett managed to get it passed Brady 1-2. By this time Banstead should have been four or five up with the chances they had not taken.
Just on halftime Utd had a chance but it went wide. In the second half Banstead couldn't quite find the rythmn they had in the first half.
On sixty three minutes though Graham took another freekick a fair way out and had the same result into the back of the net it flew for his second of the game 1-3. On seventy two minutes Utd were back to 2-3 with some good work when Todd passed to Cheadle and in it went.
An equalising goal by Bennett for his second of the match from a knock down from a team mate in the A's area. Banstead made substitutions as well as Utd to try and grab the winner but it finished 3-3.
