Police are appealing for witnesses after a man flashed at a female passenger on a train at Sutton station.

The incident occured on a train at around 8pm on Monday (March 29) and the man is described as black and approximately 30-years-old.

He had shaved black hair and was wearing a black jumper and green trousers. Officers attended the station but the man had fled the scene.

A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesman said: “Officers were called to Sutton rail station on Monday, March 29, at 8.09pm after a report from a passenger that a man had indecently exposed himself on a train.”

Police cordoned off an area near the waiting room, inside the station, so they could speak to the victim.
