If last week was anything to go by, it would’ve seemed that spring has finally reached the gardens and streets of Britain. And with the clocks going forward an hour last Sunday, it marked the official beginning of British Summertime. Temperatures for London hit 17°C, with an average of 12°C, on Tuesday 23rd March.
But the start to this week has been much more wintery. The temperature has dropped over 10°C, it is currently 4°C, and any coats and scarves that you were thinking of putting away for a couple of months, you will most definitely be wearing for the next week or so. In other parts of the country, there has been over a foot of snow in Scotland, and there have also been snow showers in Northern Ireland.
So, is it time to book that all-inclusive break to a far off country to escape this dismal weather, or should we ignore this weather for a little longer and wait for a good dose of vitamin C?
