Breaking into the music industry can be difficult but a group of students at Croydon College are hoping their hard work will pay off.
The second year students on the BTEC national diploma in music technology have just completed their final project, which included producing a CD. They also set up a showcase of their work at the Boom Boom Club at Sutton United Football Club, Gander Green Lane, Sutton.
One student, 18-year-old Samuel Flowers, also had a helping hand from his mum, who instead of buying him a Playstation got him a keyboard instead encouraging his love for music. He is working on his own album that he's written, produced and arranged.
